Storm Island 03: A New Life
The alluring aroma of exotic jungle flowers hung thick in the air, wafting around in the crisp, refreshing breeze. The winds carried the scent over to a young woman who appeared to be slumped up against a rock in the center of a clearing. The strong smell woke her up, her ocean blue eyes slowly opening. The sight around her shocked her to her senses; was she dreaming again?

Starfleet Command orders the commanding officers of the U.S.S. Purity and U.S.S. Bariell to broker a trade agreement with the Ferengi Alliance regarding mining rights and raw materials in the NGC-673 system.
Acting Captain's Log, stardate 69064.3.
It's been a week now that I've been in command of the U.S.S. Purity and I'm already starting to enjoy it. Commander Blackmoore is still feeling the effects of the Orion toxins that poisoned nearly a third of the crew. However, most of the others have recovered by now. Interrogations of the two Orions continue to lead us nowhere. It's like speaking to a brick wall, they haven't said a single word.

Storm Island 01: Just a City Girl
"My child..." a deep, echoing voice called out.
In a bright field of dozens of different varieties of flowers, a young woman was laying down on her back, sleeping peacefully.
"Wake up, my child..." the voice said again.
The young woman's bright blue eyes slowly opened to a strange view. A long streak of stars stretched across the sky above her, the rest of the pitch black sky dotted with bright stars and celestial clouds. A crisp, refreshing breeze blew her golden brown hair lightly as she sat up and looked around. A rainbow-like assortment of flowers surrounded her, dousing the area in an alluring, spring-like aroma. The crew of the U.S.S. Purity battles a threat from within as verbal and physical altercations break out across the ship. Can security be restored before things spiral out of control?
In the depths of space within the Duhan sector, a lonely winged probe about seven meters in length floated around, spinning wildly as it narrowly avoided a collision with an asteroid. A bright flash of light burst forth from behind it; the U.S.S. Purity had dropped out of warp. A few moments later, a tractor beam emitted from the deflector dish, drawing in the small object. The object was brought to the shuttle bay situated just between the saucer section of t

Malix was crouching down, hiding behind a large metallic crate as purple beams of energy cut through the air around him. Breathing heavily and with adrenaline coursing through him, he turned to a woman next to him, looking deep into her dark eyes. He studied the primitive bladed weapon in her hands, unsure if she could properly defend herself with it. "We're going to get out of this. Trust me." he said, firmly grasping his phaser pistol. After a deep breath, he stood up and exposed himself to the hail of polaron weaponry that was assaulting his hiding spot. He took aim, firing again and again, defeating several bluish-white, scaly humanoids
The star of the Ancetti system had begun to peak around Ancetti IV, illuminating the round structures attached to the sides of Starbase 162. Tiny worker ships buzzed around the exterior of the space station, repairing minor damage and patrolling the area. There was only one Federation starship stationed at the starbase, the U.S.S. Purity. The three warp nacelles adorning the back of the hull were powered down as it hovered within a drydock.
Inside, on deck 4, sat a young human in her late 20s on a large, soft bed. Her long brown hair was a tattered wreck, her dark green eyes still half closed. She yawned and stretched, then pushed herself

This is of dire importance! Much more important than air raid sirens, emergency radio broadcasts about attacks on rural communities and information on how to survive an earthquake in a shoddily constructed building.
The few of you who follow the progress on the Pokemon Azure story should probably go and start watching !Jake-The-Menodix (https://www.deviantart.com/jake-the-menodix) since we're both posting chapters. That should clear up a bit of confusion someone has brought up with me. Well, I'd suggest following him anyways. He posts some interesting stuff every now and then... emphasis on "every now and then" >: D
Edit: For what it's worth, I'll link the chapter list he has set
God damn it.
My sanity and self esteem have been hanging on by a thread over the past few weeks. I really don't know why; The thing that's caused those feelings is completely out of my control. Completely out of everyone's control really. But for some reason, there's a glimmer of hope today. Problem is, today is April 1st... sigh. I asked my glimmer of hope if he realised that today is April Fools day, and he said that he didn't. He said that if he did know today was April 1st, he would have chosen to tell me what he told me tomorrow or the day before.
I officially both hate and love this day at the same time. I'm not even sure what to beli
I just want everyone to know that this girl here has the best advice anyone could ever ask for.
It may come a tad bit late for me, but as I said already... Thanks. Time will tell if what you said is really true, but your words alone gave the thought a second chance.
